Situated in a quiet ‘plane tree’ lined street, the landscaped garden sits harmoniously with the new architecturally designed home and the streetscape.

Working closely with the clients who had specific ideas, ‘the look of nature’ was the design brief.

Natural curves, bold gritty sandstone boulders, rusty iron edging, soft granitic sand paths, and a mix of native and naturalistic-looking ornamental trees and plants became the combination of elements to support the architecture.

Claret red being the client’s favourite colour, it was exciting to use a mix of cultivars offering a variety of leaf colours and shapes.

An assortment of Maples, dogwoods, silver birch and crabapples became the poignant features within the planting scheme.

Arriving at the main entrance to the property, a row of symmetrically placed coral bark maples created a canopy while walking on the Merbau timber boardwalk, welcoming you into the home.
