A huge fifty-metre conifer was removed in the front garden as it was causing damage to the foundations of the property. An opportunity arose to design the front area completely.

The design incorporated a selection of ornamental trees and shrubs with the emphasis on seasonal interest: Magnolia Teddy Bears, Michelia Figo’s and deciduous Prunus subhitella and Lagerstroemia ‘Natchez’ became the foundation to this garden design. The understory plantings were a mix of colourful herbaceous perennials and evergreen ground covers. Recycled brick garden edging complimented the brick home and lush green turf offered a cool space to walk on.
