These clients were impressed with the work I did for a friend and engaged me to overhaul their front and back garden. The brief for the front was to introduce a large turf area with lush, mainly evergreen plantings. As the architecture of the home is a single-story, long and narrow, I decided to keep the style of the garden

design open and uncluttered.   A small area of circular brick paving close to the entrance created a seating area to sit and enjoy the garden. The planting theme incorporated tones of green, burgundy and white. A delightful Cercis Forest Pansy provided the feature in the garden.

The back became a native designed garden with numerous species of seasonal flowering plants. An area dedicated to a fire surround for entertaining was important in this garden design.

Turf and brick edging finalised the back design.
